Living a Life of Freedom with Essential Oils
At Young Living's Grand International Convention in Salt Lake City this year we talked a lot about DREAMING, and GOALS. Those are kind of crazy words, and even crazier actions. We need to be teaching our children more about their dreams, and that it's okay to be afraid of your dreams. When you're afraid of something, it means you've got something to lose.
So anyway,
My first goal from Convention was going to be to make a video of the
Freedom Bundle. And I wanted to get it put on YouTube by 7/15/14. Well,
guess what?? I made it, and I made it with a good 36 hours to spare. And
in the last 36 hours, my video has had 96 views.....NINETY-SIX! That's
pretty huge. I know this thing will go far, and I can't wait. I did have to
put some Valor Essential oil on before posting, because, well it is
SCARY to put yourself on the internet! I hope you all enjoy, and I hope
this video truly reflects my heart. Much love to y'all!

Cooling Spray Recipe
Okay y'all. If you are one of those unfortunate souls who doesn't get to experience the HEAT of living in Southwest Oklahoma, this might not apply to you. However, if you are LUCKY enough to live in one of the southern states, you know what H-O-T truly means.
We have been having cookouts, and hiking, and going to the pool, and even the lake! So what do we do to stay cool?? We use this AWESOME cooling spray!
You will need:
4 oz spray bottle, preferably glass (I get mine here)
5 drops Young Living Peppermint, or Spearmint Essential Oil
5 drops Young Living Lavender Essential Oil
3 oz of water
Since this will be sprayed onto your skin, please make sure you are using a trustable source of Essential Oils. As always, I recommend and only use Young Living Essential Oils. They are the world leader in essential oils, and have been in business for 20 years.
It's really that simple! So don't get caught at the ballgame without it! Or mowing, or hiking, or, or, or.......
I'd love to have you on my team! For more information, contact me here, or on facebook.

Make your own Thieves wipes
Thieves household cleaner is 100% non-toxic, yet it is effective enough to use on every surface of your house. We're talking counter tops, floors, bathtubs, TOILETS, I even use it as a face wash in the shower. This is just amazing stuff! AND it's dilutes down to about $0.88 per bottle!! Without further ado......
I've gone 2 years without buying paper towels! Well. I just broke that, just so I could show y'all how easy it is to make your own cleaning wipes!
Here's what you need:
Thieves Household Cleaner, a container, a serrated knife, and a roll of paper towels.
I didn't have an old tube of disinfecting wipes (thought I now wish I did!). You will start by cutting the roll of paper towels down to whatever size your container is.
Place the cut portion into your container.
Dilute your thieves solution according to the bottle, or your preference, and pour over the paper towels until they are damp.
It's now easy to peel the center away from the paper towels, and up and out. Now you can pull them from the center!
Finished! Now it's easy to wipe up the bathroom sink when you're done getting ready for the day
I'd love to have you as part of my team. If you'd like more information, find me on facebook, or sign up under member # 1347443.

Valor
There is so much to say about Young Living's blend Valor. It is an all around GREAT oil! Us oily people like to call it the Chiropractor in a bottle! This blend was formulated to balance the energies within the body, uplift spirits, promote courage, and boost self-esteem.
Valor is made up of:
Rosewood--Empowering, and emotionally stabilizing. Also great for fungal infections, and skin conditions such as eczema.
Blue Tansy--Anti-inflammatory, relaxant.
Frankincense--Anti-tumoral, anti-depressant, and immune stimulating. Increases spiritual awareness, and uplifts spirits.
Spruce: Great for arthritis, sciatica, and fungal infections. Also known to release emotional blocks, and bring a sense of balance and grounding.
And it is in a base of coconut oil to keep all the oils mixed well, and to dilute any oils that may feel spicy on your skin.
Any time you are layering a series of oils, you should apply Valor first. It will get the body into a balanced rhythm, and help your molecules be more receptive to the following oils.
I suffered from a bulging disk in my back. There were many chiropractic appointments, and adjustments. Lots of long nights icing my lower back with only some pain dissipating. FINALLY I discovered Valor, and its healing capabilities! If only I had known that Valor has been shown to have a more lasting effect on Chiropractic adjustments when applied before and after the adjustment. So not only is this oil good for confidence and snoring it makes your money last longer! ;)
Oh! And I no longer have to see the chiropractor every week.

Dr. Visits!!
The reason I have not been to the Dr. is because I can now be self-sufficient with my essential oils. PLUS when used on a DAILY basis, it is physically impossible for your body to get sick. This is due to the frequency in your body, and the EO direct effect on it.

Catalina and Her Disappearing Knot!
This is my baby girl, Catalina.
She likes to get in fights with her sister.
Most recently she ended up with a HUGE knot on the inside of her right "elbow". I tried to let it go down on its own, not knowing what it was. I finally decided to take her to the doctor.
First off, she is NOT friendly to strangers....at all. So the vet visit in itself was going to prove tricky. But the appointment was made, and we would venture to see Dr. Chambers on 1/16/2014. I decided to douse myself and her in both Peace and Calming and Stress Away before work, and before entering the vets office. Generally if you are stressed, your animal will be too no matter how much oil you put on them.
The visit went GREAT. Not a single woof was spoken, although she did talk to him in her cute little voice.
Doc let us know that she had torn her tendon sheath--Capitis Elbow--and would need surgery, and that he had NEVER seen this issue heal itself. I was encouraged to go home and do research. As any good parent would, that's what I did. HOURS of research on this subject. I decided since she was in virtually no pain that I would try to treat the issue on my own.
Saturday would be the beginning of the regimen. I gathered my trusty Young Living oils, supplements, and research, and took her to work (I know this is not practical for most, but I'm thankful it is an option for me). So day 1 and 2 we alternated the pairings EVERY hour we were awake. Yes, EVERY single one.
Oils of choice:
I paired together 2 drops Copaiba (inflammation), and 2 drops Lemongrass (tendon health).
I also paired together 2 drops Aroma Siez (inflammation) and 2 drops Marjoram (pain and tendon health).
Because of the strong aroma (and obviously her strong sense of smell) I chose to dilute these with a "squirt" of V6 oil.
Supplement:
I used Young Livings BLM--1 capsule in wet food 3 times per day for 3 days, and once per day after.
After the initial two days this is what her elbow had decreased to!!
I was thrilled to say the least.
So the following days (4 more since then) I have used Copaiba/Lemongrass in morning and Aroma Siez/Marjoram at night. I've also started her on Omega-gyze, Multi-greens to get the tendon sheath itself to heal!!
This is what her elbow looks like today compared to 6 days ago. The swelling has gone from golf ball size to pea size.
IF I had had to purchase the oils and BLM (I did not, because I had them on hand), I would have spent $161.25 and have leftover oils!! That's a savings of $338.75 (when compared with the surgical cost). I'm okay with that ;)
